About Addendum

Addendum is a gallery and curatorial platform located in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Co-directed by James Stepanek and Tanner MacArthur, Addendum launched its program in January 2026. The gallery is an expansion of No Instructions Gallery, which Stepanek has owned and operated since spring 2025. The program focuses on emerging and mid-career artists with diverse voices, often engaging disciplines and cultural projects outside the scope of No Instructions Gallery's syllabus.

James Stepanek is a creative director and curator living in Bay View. He received his BFA from Kent State University and has worked to build No Instructions Gallery into a growing hub for emerging and established artists in Milwaukee. Tanner MacArthur is an artist and curator working between Milwaukee, WI and Brooklyn, NY. He received his BA from Lawrence University and MFA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
